Acupuncture is widely considered to be beneficial for a range of illnesses and symptoms, from clearly defined complaints such as neck/low back pain and headaches, through to more general feelings of ill health such as nausea or low energy. Acupuncture is increasingly used by women as part of a conception programme and to support them during and after pregnancy.

For the more serious illnesses where prescribed Western medication is essential and lifesaving, acupuncture is often used successfully in alleviating the adverse side effects of medication, thus improving vitality and quality of life.
Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world and in the UK today, GP's are increasingly recommending acupuncture which is often used in conjunction with conventional Western medicine. It is also considered suitable for all ages including babies and children.
